Music has always been an important thing in my life. Perhaps the most important, other than like friends or self fulfillment or something. But it's high up on the list for sure. I've always casually explored music throughout my life, but in the past couple years it has become an even more significant part of it. This page will eventually contain all musical knowledge and insight I have to give.

Album Reviews

I have a lot of albums to talk about! Note that if you're looking for a harsh critical lens, you're probably not going to get one here. I love most of what I listen to and will rate most things very positively. To give an idea of what the ratings look like:

• 6 Stars are reserved only for the absolute finest of albums. Like, my personal top 10-15 and nothing else. Real transcendent music.
• 5 Stars are for masterpieces with solid consistency and incredible highs. Must-listen for everybody who's anybody.
• 4 Stars are for excellent albums that have few outstanding issues and are generally extremely enjoyable. Highly recommend.
• 3 Stars are for good albums that may be inconsistent or have problems that drag them down, but are overall worth listening to.
• 2 Stars are for albums I wish I liked. Either just not good enough to be pleasant listening or not my thing. Doesn't always mean bad.
• 1 Star is for albums that I truly WOULD consider bad with few redeeming qualities. I rarely give albums this rating though, if ever.

As you probably know, I make music under the name Overcast Harbor. My music is currently available on Bandcamp and Youtube for those curious. I will soon have a page dedicated to information about my music, mainly "the making of" kinda stuff, as well as explanations of lyrics and my inspirations for each song.
